My images tell a story or, at the very least, permit the viewer to imagine a greater scenario beyond the image itself. Voyeuristic in a sense, I try to create images that give the viewer the sense that within the image there is a back-story. Individuals, their actions, and surroundings are carefully selected. They become a character in a story much larger than themselves. Many of my photographs represent moments of introspection; those times we believe to be unseen and private. Capturing those moments, for me, brings out the true essence of people and provides insight into our lives that we keep hidden.
